Errors in first edition (Rupa,
2003)
There is one major mistake,
which I’ll point out first, and a few minor glitches as well.
Page 271
The 2nd last
paragraph here is wrongly placed. (It reappears correctly on page
273.) It replaces the correct, far shorter paragraph that reads:
The horror of this demise
is not easily entertained. Even indomitable Jade suffered pain and
terror at the end, the moment of realising that her life was being
crushed out of her, this was it, like this, unprepared, complete,
unredeemed, it can end like this.
